I read about Morris the Cat's program the other day. The 9 Lives brand set out to rescue 1 million cats in 2006. In June 2008, the 1 millionth cat was adopted.
I think that is a great cause, especially since I know how much George and Gracie have added to my life. Cats are great companions. Until about age 8, I had a dog, Comet. After that, we adopted a cat, Chloe, who lived for 16 years. She was very special, and I still miss her. I'm glad the 9 Lives company is doing so much good.
