Impolite: Holding the door open for someone 20 feet behind you, so they have to run (in heels) to get to the door to not appear impolite themselves

Thank goodness, they gave Heath Ledger the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. His performance as the Joker was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Don't lie -- you teared up when his family gave the acceptance speech. (At least, they are normal people and not pompous idiots like Sean Penn.)

Now onto my fashion picks for the night --
I loved the trend of white or nearly white gowns. Maybe I'm in wedding dress mode, but they really stood out. SJP (in Dior Haute Couture), Penelope Cruz (in vintage Balmain), and Anne Hathaway (in Giorgio Armani) were all part of the trend. (Anne Hathaway can do no wrong. She even sang during the show. Who knew she could sing?!)

Rounding out my top 5 are Kate Winslet (in YSL) and Natalie Portman (in Rodarte). Kate Winslet looked phenomenal on every red carpet this season.

New Job

I have been neglecting my blog lately. My new position has been taking up a lot of my time. It's annoying to me that I am having to start from scratch. I am completely clueless about this line of business. They've been giving me lots of reports to do without explaining what they are. It's frustrating feeling like you're simply a data monkey. I can do so much more. I also would love to be more creative. Maybe something will change soon...

Does my wedding countdown really say 60 days to go? Wow... :-)
