Paging Dr. Joe Biden...

"Vice President Joe Biden said Thursday that he would not recommend taking any commercial flight or riding in a subway car “at this point” because swine flu virus can spread “in confined places.” A little more than one hour later, Biden rushed out a statement backing off.

“I would tell members of my family — and I have — I wouldn’t go anywhere in confined places now,” Biden said on NBC’s “Today” show.. “It’s not that it’s going to Mexico. It’s [that] you’re in a confined aircraft. When one person sneezes, it goes all the way through the aircraft. That’s me. … "

That contradicted more restrained advice from President Barack Obama and the federal government — and the last thing the White House wants to do right now is shut down the airline industry and big-city subways out of mass panic. "

What a moron!!

I Haven't Forgotten You, Blogger

I have been a lazy blogger. It's been two weeks since my last post! One of those weeks was spent on my honeymoon. It was amazing! I will post about it later when I have the pics ready. I will also post the wedding photos when I have them. We should get to see them any day now!

An update on my kitties: George turned 2 years old on April 11, and Gracie's 2nd birthday is tomorrow! They stayed home during the honeymoon with Aunt Al taking care of them. Even though they were lonely, they are much happier at home than at the vet.

Gracie figured out yesterday that the food in the microwave rotates. She was glued to it last night. With Mommy being single until now, that's where most of the food comes from! :-) She is smart enough to understand that!

Only 2 days!

I think I can finally breathe now. I took most of the week off from work, so I could get everything done for the wedding. There is just no way to do it while working a full-time job! As long as all the vendors show up and do their jobs, we should not have any problems.

For most of the planning process, I have remained calm. The past couple weeks have made me stressed. I feel like I've been a beotch, because my nerves are so frazzled. But, I am still no bridezilla!

I'm excited but have butterflies about entering this new phase in my life. I have been an individual all my life, so my thinking will have to change. I can still be me, but now I'll have a husband to consider. I want three things for Saturday: (1) A happy, romantic, and sentimental day, (2) Family and friends to have a great time, and (3) No rain and beautiful weather!!
